： Paying less initial cost (No Agent fee, key money, deposit, only advance rent required)
： Many opportunities to meet different people over a short term.
： No Guarantor, No Key Money required.
： In comparison to accommodation, the monthly rent is cheaper
： Recommended for 1-3 months short stay.

Demerit

：The house may not be as clean as other properties due to sharing by many people.
：Difficult to have own your private space.
：Same reason of above.
：Sometimes common space is not so convenient.

For example: coin operated washing and internet, possibly even shower.

Share-house

It’s like sharing a big family house with several people.

You would have own your room in house.

Merit

：Easy to move in.(Only passport required for moving in)
：Easy to make a close friends with many nationalities.
：More opportunity to learn Japanese, even other languages.
：Paying a less initial cost( just one month of refundable deposit).
：Its good for mid-term stay, ideal for less than 1 year.

Demerit

：Sometimes it can be a concern to share the common space with other housemates, especially bathroom and toilet, kitchen space.
：Its sometimes difficult to stay more than 1 year.

Monthly furnished Apartment.

Merit

：Don’t need to waste your time to look for furniture.
：Easy to move in (only passport required for moving in).
：No guarantor.
：Possible to stay short-term, monthly contracts available, not recommended for leasing greater than 6 months.

Demerit

：Monthly rent is higher than regular apartments, due to convenience.
：Due to the convenient nature of monthly apartments, you may find your neighbors are regularly changing and they may be less concerned about keeping noise to a minimum.
： Bare essentials are provided by the monthly apartment, but you may need to supplement these items by purchasing some cheap goods.
：Generally designed for solo living, monthly apartments will give you limited opportunity to mingle with other tenants or meet friendly Osaka locals.

：Quality of apartments are much better than monthly apartments.
